Mr. Adriaan van der Meer was born in The Netherlands. He studied at the Law Faculty of the State University of Leyden (The Netherlands). At the end of his studies he took an international orientation and continued studying European Integration during a post-graduate course at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).
On 9 April, senior representatives of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) met with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. The event marked the 45th ISTC Governing Board meeting, which was held for the first time in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
The Center will offer Tajik scientists distance-learning programs, on-site training, access to computers and the Internet and other technical equipment to improve their business skills.
