Within the scope of signed partner projects, ISTC's Procurement Department procures all necessary equipment, materials and services, including areas such as: agriculture, drug and vaccine development, hydrology, manufacturing, nuclear safety and physics.
ISTC procurement takes into account the existence of possible sources of procurement originating from all parties to the ISTC Agreement. Except as provided in well specified exceptional cases, e.g. when the estimated contract value is less than 10 000.00 contracts shall be awarded after formal competitive tendering. Procurement activities in the range from 10 000.00 USD and 300 000.00 USD normally involve a Restricted Tender resulting in at least three written proposals.
