The International Science and
The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway and the United States.
ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with CIS and Georgian institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.
The ISTC would like to direct the attention of scientists, who will apply for research grants, to the new procedure for submission of new Project Proposals
All new Project Proposals have to be entered into the new ISTC forum web site. Deadline is March 15, 2019
Patnesh, the newsletter of the Armenian Center of research on non-proliferation issues has published in its latest issue an article featuring the ISTC-implemented in countries of Central Asia and adjacent regions strategic targeted initiative – CBRN Export Control on Dual Use Materials and Intangible Technologies.
On 19 February 2019 ISTC Executive Director David Cleave visited the Embassy of Mongolia in Astana to discuss with Ambassador Luvsan Battulga the cooperation between ISTC and Mongolia on topics of common interest and the prospects for further and more structured relationship between Mongolia and ISTC.
On 4 February 2019 H.E. Dr. Said ben Muhammed Al Barami visited the ISTC Main Office to discuss with ISCT Executive Director David Cleave matters pertaining to cooperation with ISTC on bilateral and regional basis, within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
On the occasion of it’s 25th Anniversary the International Science and Technology Center announces an Award for Young Scientists.
The objective of this Award is to encourage young scientists, researchers and engineers to undertake outstanding work in the field of World and Regional Security issues. Submission of Work to be received by 1st September 2019. The ISTC will award 3 Winners. Separate Awards to 3 Georgian papers will be sponsored by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF). Separately Japan will sponsor a Scientific Travel Mission to Japan. Details of the Announcements of the various Award Winners will be published on the ISTC web site later during 2019.
